How it started

Moselle Spiller is NHKC's head brewer and company owner. She first started making kombucha around 2014. In 2015 she started selling kombucha at the Tamworth Farmers market in simple ½ gallon glass jugs. At the time her brand name was “Mo’Bucha” and her traditional hand-crafted brews were a hit with the locals and a dedicated following began.

In 2020, she rebranded the company as New Hampshire Kombucha Company. Over the course of the next three years the "Boochery" in Effingham Falls was built and today, NHKC is the 1st and only fully licensed kombucha brewery in New Hampshire's Carroll County and the Mount Washington Valley.

The "Boochery" is a mini manufacturing facility in Effingham Falls where all the brewing magic and bottling happens! Currently NHCK does not offering on-premises retail sales, but you can find NHCK every Saturday at the Tamworth Farmers Market. If you want to just visit the Boochery and take a tour of how kombucha is made, we would love to meet you! Email Moselle to learn more.

Hi I'm Moselle!

I began brewing kombucha over a decade ago and have been selling bottled kombucha every spring, summer, fall and winter since 2015 with over 2,000 gallons of kombucha sold. I love what I do, and connecting with people at the farmers market is my favorite day of the week. I believe in local food and products and am proud to have been a part of this community for so many years. I'm excited to come back this May and continue the tradition.

Best, Moselle
